FUNDRASIERS
It is apparent that many lives are impacted with the current economy and FUSD budget cuts. Each and every one of us has suffered financial losses both on a personal and business level. The burden of raising funds for the boy’s basketball program has been passed off to us parents. Thus being said it is important that we come together as a basketball family to raise funds for the future of our children. Our hope is that every family finds rewards by being a part of this organization. It is encouraged that every family helps to the best of their limit to raise funds for the program. Listed below are suggested fund raising ideas that you can choose from. For example: as a family you can have a business sponsor a banner and that would count as your family’s contribution to the program; or send out your 10 letters and what is raised from the letters would be your family’s contribution. Please email Ms Bonner with your choice of fundraiser. ($250 was derived from sending out 10 letters and hoping the return is $25/letter)
Thank you from all our children and parents.
FUNDRAISERS

Booster club will purchase license plates for each varsity player that will be hung in the gym with their name and jersey number. This will be given to each player during senior night. The plates will also be significant of the player that has the best free throw percentage. Their plate will be at the top of the list.
The culinary class will make the meals for away games for $5.

New Tradition?????????? J
Varsity
Would be nice to host a dinner held the night before home games. Two or more family’s can host. (for the past 2 years I would host a dinner at my house for the players and coaches before the FHS game. The boys hung out together played video games and had fun. This would be a good way for the team to bond and become a “brotherhood”. ) Leellen and some of the parents also had dinners for the varsity boys last year. Call Jenny 699-4646 if you are interested in participating. (JV and Freshman may also entertain the idea. I know that I will host a dinner for the Freshman before our home game against FHS. )
Parents if you take photos of the games, please post them on the website. Leellen has a friend who has developed the website and at this time is not charging the booster club.
